What is Hermes Desktop?
Hermes Agent is an open-source autonomous AI agent from Nous Research that runs on your server, remembers what it learns, and gets more capable the longer you use it. 1. Visit github.com/fathah/hermes-desktop/releases
2. Download for your OS: .dmg (Mac), .AppImage/.deb (Linux), .exe (Windows, 104 MB)
3. Open it like any normal app — first-run wizard installs Hermes Agent under ~/.hermes
4. Pick your provider in the setup wizard (Ollama, LM Studio, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, OpenRouter)
